Ted Kaczynski, the notorious Unabomber, died by suicide in prison on June 10, 2023, at the age of 81. Kaczynski was serving a life sentence for his role in a series of mail bombs that killed three people and injured 23 others between 1978 and 1995. Kaczynski was born in Chicago in 1942 and grew up in Evergreen Park, Illinois. He was a brilliant student and attended Harvard University, where he earned a degree in mathematics in 1962.
